The Christian life is not meant to be an isolated experience for individual Christians following Christ on their own. Rather, the Bible teaches that the Christian life is a life lived together as the church—a local body of believers, the family of God, committed to God and each other. Church membership is our way of identifying and affirming who is a part of the covenant family at Carson Valley Bible Church.

Becoming a member at CVBC is a two-step process. First, we encourage anyone interested in becoming a member to attend Starting Point - a Membership Class - held quarterly at the church.  During the class, the Pastors will discuss the mission and vision of the church, important topics, church government, leadership, church doctrine, and any other questions someone may have. Second, any prospective member will fill out a membership application that will be reviewed and discussed with the Pastors during a personal interview.
